About NexPage

Having worked in North Asia, we discovered a ton of books that were not available to the rest of the world. When we polled more than a hundred people, we found more than 90% of those polled interested to learn more on the books we discovered but didn’t know the language or unwilling to spend the time to read the whole book.

Thus, we gathered translators, editors, designers and developers to extract the best ideas from foreign books and translate them to share with the rest of the world. With NexPage, wherever you are, you get these insights at your fingertips.

What We Believe In

Today, if someone wants to read a book but does not know the language, they are limited to what they can find on Google. This is unacceptable because it is difficult to even know what to search for, and hiring a translator for this purpose is prohibitively expensive.

We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to gain knowledge and learn about other cultures without being limited by language or distribution barriers. We envision a world in which someone in the United States can get key ideas in English from a book originally written in Chinese, and someone in Indonesia can get key ideas in Bahasa Indonesia from a book originally written in Japanese.

We are creating this world by producing high-quality summaries of the best nonfiction books from around the world and delivering them in the mother tongue so that people can save time while reading in their preferred language.

When people are able to incorporate NexPage ideas into their lives, we believe that we are assisting them in their journey to become life-long learners, as well as making the world a better place through the sharing of knowledge and ideas.

OUR CORE VALUES

Core values

Our core values stands for F.A.S.T.E.R, and are as follows:

1) F for Focus on the Customer: We treat the customer as if they are a member of our family in wanting to help and serve them.

2) A for Accountability and Personal Ownership: This means accepting responsibility for the consequences of our actions with a commitment to provide results behind decisions we make.

3) S for Servant Leadership: Leaders in NexPage should be concerned about how far they advance those below them. They “roll up their sleeves” and are not preoccupied with avoiding tasks that appear to be beneath them. By focusing on serving, leaders strive to add value to their teams.

4) T for Transparency as a Form of Education: There is no reason to conceal figures, regardless of how well/bad the company is performing. Employees will be willing to identify with the company’s direction as long as the entrepreneur is straightforward, real, and honest.

5) E for Embrace Diversity: NexPage’s mission is to democratise learning across borders. This means that diversity, equity and inclusion should be at the heart of our values and our growth strategy. We believe that as long as the person has the passion and the resourcefulness to think and act like the founder, education and other factors play only a secondary role in the job’s consideration.

6) R for Resourcefulness as an Answer to Frugality: Accomplish more with less. Constraints breed resourcefulness, self-sufficiency and invention. Just because we could solve a problem with a higher budget doesn’t mean we have to.
